My shift partner's quiet tip turned my casting around.

I used to rush the cooling phase to save time. He pointed out a crack in my last piece, so I slowed down. Now my work comes out solid every time.

Actually, I've had good results moving a bit quicker sometimes.

My buddy tried that last week, he was in a hurry to get his batch done. He pulled his stuff out of the oven way too early, like ten minutes fast. The whole center was totally gooey and raw, a complete waste.
