I always thought it was a silly collection, just stuff from flea markets and sidewalk cracks. Seeing that exact number made me realize it's a whole archive of lost little things. Anyone else keep a weird found object collection that got out of hand?

Found buttons are different from screws, they clack together nicely.

That's a lot of buttons. Do you sort them by color or just keep them all mixed together?

You know what, that reminds me of my jar of weird screws and bolts from old furniture. So what if you sorted them, like betty126 asked, would you even want to? Half the charm is just digging through the mess and remembering where each one came from. My screw jar is a total chaos pile and I think it tells a better story that way.
