Found this weird ceramic head in a box of free stuff on 4th Street
It was just sitting there on the curb, next to some old magazines... I almost left it because it was so creepy, but I grabbed it on a whim. Took it home and cleaned it up, and now I kind of love its weird vibe. Anyone else ever take a chance on a strange find and end up really liking it?

Read an article once that said our brains actually like imperfect objects more. They stick in your memory.

Totally get that. What is it about the weird stuff that grows on you? I once grabbed this busted up wooden duck decoy from a garage sale. It was missing an eye and half its paint, looked like it lost a fight. Now it sits on my bookshelf and I wouldn't trade it for a perfect one. It's got way more character.
