Found a notebook in a coffee shop with a story about a lost ring

I was at The Daily Grind on Maple Street last Tuesday and found a small black notebook left on a table. Inside was a whole story about someone finding a class ring from 1972 in a park and trying to find the owner. The writer had drawn a little map of the park and everything. It made me think about how much history is in these random notes people leave behind. Has anyone else found a notebook that told a full story like that?

Found a sketchbook once full of weird monster designs and grocery lists. It was like seeing someone's brain on paper. That ring story is cool, makes you wonder if they ever found the owner. I'd probably get too invested and start looking myself.
