Spent 3 hours cleaning a $5 brass lamp from the Springfield flea market just to find a dead mouse inside.
The thing was caked in decades of grime and I was determined to get it shining. Anyone else ever find something truly nasty hidden in a 'treasure'?

Actually, that's a Springfield flea market find for you. The real treasure is always the dead mouse you find along the way.

Man, flea market finds can be rough. I always check the bottom of any box or bag before I buy. Found a nest of roaches in an old toolbox once, never again. Shake out fabric items too, you never know what's hiding in the folds. A quick look can save you from bringing home more than you paid for.
