Forgot to advance the film on a whole roll of vacation shots
Was at Yosemite last summer, hiking up to Glacier Point, and shot about 20 frames of absolutely stunning views. Got back home and realized I never hit the advance lever after loading the roll - everything was exposed on the same single frame. Ended up with one super overexposed mess of a photo that looks like a weird double exposure. Anyone else ever do something like that and actually get a cool accident out of it?

My husband did something similar back in '92 at the Grand Canyon. He loaded the film wrong and ended up with about 15 blank frames and then one that somehow captured a tourist dropping their ice cream cone right as the shutter went off. It's actually framed in our living room now because it's so ridiculous and perfectly timed. I guess sometimes the universe gives you a funny accident when you mess up your gear.

Ha, reminds me of the time I accidentally left the lens cap on for half a trip to Disneyland.
