Wasted $200 on a set of 'custom' rasps that went dull after three horses...
Bought them off a Facebook ad claiming they were forged in Sweden but they couldn't even hold an edge through one full reset, has anyone else fallen for those flashy online tool deals?

Has this whole online shopping thing turned into a trap where people just slap "hand forged" or "custom" on anything and hope nobody checks? It feels like every other ad on social media these days is selling some tool made in a random factory but dressed up to look like a real craftsman made it. I swear, the amount of junk floating around is making it harder to trust any new brand unless you hear about them from someone who actually broke a sweat using the thing. What happened to just going to a hardware store and being able to tell if the steel was decent by how heavy the tool felt? Did you manage to get your money back or did you just write it off as a lesson learned?

The 4-inch carbon steel bushcraft hatchet I bought had a grind that was visibly uneven on one side…
