Just trimmed my 500th hoof this year and the number really hit me
It's only March, so I'm way ahead of my usual pace and it made me realize how much more efficient my new rasp technique has become. Anyone else track their numbers and get surprised by the count?

Tracking numbers is a game changer, I started logging my jobs last year. Seeing the total climb so fast makes you realize how much a small change, like your new rasp method, actually adds up over time.

Totally get that. My own tracking mostly shows me how much time I waste looking for my pencil. I'll log "15 minutes shaping a tenon" and then the next entry is "17 minutes trying to remember which pocket I put my marking knife in." The numbers don't lie, and mine say I need a tool belt before a better rasp.

Yeah, seeing the numbers climb is great. My own logs mostly show how much time I spend just looking for my tape measure.
