Blowing out pet hair from my amplifier's fan fixed everything overnight
My stereo amp kept cutting out during movie nights. I was ready to order new parts and spend hours testing. Then I spotted the cooling fan packed with dust and fur. A quick clean with compressed air made it run like new. It struck me that pros sometimes skip the obvious first steps. I feel like we dive into complicated fixes too fast, like with laptops where overheating is often just dirt. Checking easy things first can stop a lot of wasted effort.

@seth437's dust bunnies prove simple fixes beat complex diagnoses every time.

You ever notice how often the fix is just cleaning? My old gaming PC started crashing during big fights, and I was ready to blame the graphics card. Spent a whole weekend looking up driver issues. Turned out the heatsink was just a solid brick of dust bunnies. Felt so dumb for not looking at the simple thing first, exactly like your amp. We always jump to the worst case.
