Hit a 277 volt hot leg last Tuesday and it woke me right up
I was swapping out a light fixture in a warehouse in Phoenix. Caught the edge of a terminal screw and got zapped across my palm. Not a full ride, but enough to throw me off balance and drop my driver on the concrete. Anyone else gotten a reminder shock and had to take ten minutes before you could trust your hands again?

Oh man, I gotta disagree a little here. Getting hit isn't the "cost of doing business" and it's not something you just shake off. A 277 volt hot leg is no joke, that's way more juice than a standard 120. If you get a full lockup on that voltage, it can stop your heart or throw you off a ladder. I've had a few zaps over the years and the worst ones stuck with me for days, not ten minutes. Taking a break to calm your nerves and check your gear isn't weak, it's just smart.

Gotta disagree with you there. A little jolt is just the cost of doing business, keeps you sharp. I've been hit worse on a 120 circuit and got right back to work after shaking it off. Sounds like you need thicker gloves or a steadier hand, not a ten minute break.
