Am I the only one who got burned buying a used drywall hoist?
Picked up a used drywall hoist off Craigslist for $150. Looked fine but the hydraulics gave out on my second job. Now I'm stuck with a 70-pound paperweight and lost half a day's pay waiting for the boss to bring his. Anyone else get screwed buying used equipment?

Bought a used table saw once and the guy swore it was "barely used." Got it home and the blade was so warped it looked like a potato chip. Tried to cut a 2x4 and it kicked back so hard my neighbor thought I was being attacked by a ghost. Now I just assume everything on Craigslist is cursed unless I can test it right there.
