Unpopular opinion: I spent 12 years running my cutter head too fast

An old timer named Chuck at the Port of Savannah yard pointed out my tailings pile looked like a sandstorm and told me to drop the RPMs by half. Anyone else figure out the hard way that slower speed cleans the channel better?

Oh man, that brings back memories of my grandpa yelling at me about my lawn mower blades being too dull and spinning too fast. Took me way too long to realize slow and steady really does win the race lol.
