Found out my house blueprints in Phoenix had the wrong wall thickness by 2 inches

I was looking up the original plans for my 1970s house at the city permit office last Tuesday and noticed the drafter listed the interior walls as 4 inches when they are actually 6 inches, has anyone else run into this kind of error on old blueprints?

Even 4 inches for interior walls seems heavy for 70s construction.

4 inches does seem like a lot for a 70s interior wall, doesn't it? Wouldn't that eat up a lot of usable space in a house that was already built on the cheaper side back then?
