The copy machine at my old office was like that, it made everything look washed out. Feels like half the tech we deal with now is built to fail just a little bit.

Heard a podcast that said some companies actually design office machines to start failing after a certain number of copies. Something about service contracts being more profitable than selling the machine itself. Makes you wonder if that washed out look was part of the plan.

Ugh, been there. My first zine looked like a ghost wrote it, the copy machine ate all the fine lines. Did you try messing with the darkness setting at all, or was it just a bad machine?
