Spent $60 on a toner for my risograph and it was completely the wrong shade
I bought this fancy blue-green toner off eBay thinking it would match my risograph's cyan... nope, it came out looking like swamp water. The guy listed it as "compatible" but my test prints looked like someone spilled Gatorade on the paper. Lost a whole afternoon messing with ink drums and now I'm stuck with a bottle of weird sludge. Has anyone else been burned by a cheap toner listing that didn't match what they expected?

Compatible" toner is always a gamble. Heard a printer shop guy say the same.

Take it easy, @xena_taylor64. I've been running cheap toner in a Brother for three years without a single issue. Unless you're doing pro photo work, the gamble is usually worth saving 50 bucks.
