My corner stapler jammed on the last page of a 24-page run

It was a long-arm Bostitch stapler I got from the Portland art store... the staple got bent sideways and locked the whole thing up. I had to pry it open with a flathead screwdriver and lost about 10 minutes. Anyone know a more reliable heavy-duty stapler for thicker zines?

Ugh, that exact jam is the worst. Had the same thing happen with a long-reach stapler on a thick comic. The Swingline 747 is a tank, it's the one they use in copy shops for a reason. You can find them used pretty cheap if you look around. That thing will punch through a phone book.

Wait, do copy shops still use phone books?
