Wasted $80 on a terrible photo editing app last month...

I was trying to fix a screenshot of my phone's home screen for a meme, and this app promised 'perfect cropping in one tap'. Ended up warping the whole image and adding a weird border I couldn't get rid of. The refund process was a nightmare too. Has anyone else fallen for one of those flashy editing apps with no real preview?

$80 on an editing app? That's rough, but honestly it's your own fault for not checking reviews first. People act like it's the end of the world over a bad purchase.

...and then to add insult to injury the "refund" was basically them giving me store credit for their other garbage apps. I swear these developers know exactly what they're doing with those flashy buttons and zero actual function. The worst part is I almost fell for another one last week with a "one time payment, no subscriptions" promise. At this point I just use the free version of stuff and deal with the watermark.
