Just realized I've been screenshotting at the wrong resolution for months
I was looking through my phone gallery last night and noticed all my screenshots of forum threads look super blurry when I zoom in. Turns out my phone was saving them at 720p instead of the full display resolution. I've been posting these fuzzy images in this very community for like 4 months now without realizing it. Has anyone else had their phone secretly change screenshot settings on them?

Oh man, that's rough. I had a similar thing happen with my old phone but it was the camera app defaulting to some weird "panorama assist" mode that cropped everything weird. Took me way too long to figure out why all my photos of my cat looked like she was being squeezed through a tube. Phone manufacturers love to silently switch settings after updates, it's like a hidden feature nobody asked for.

Hidden feature nobody asked for" - that's exactly it. It's like they think we want our stuff to just randomly change on us. I had that crop issue with my own phone once. Fresh update, next thing I know my photos are all stretched out like some funhouse mirror. Took me a whole weekend to find the setting. It was buried in some "advanced camera options" menu I never would have looked in. Now I just keep a mental checklist of things to check after every update. Brightness setting, camera modes, notification sounds, all that stuff. It's exhausting honestly. I shouldn't have to do that just to keep my phone working the way I set it.
