Replaced my old push mower with a reel mower last month

I got tired of spending $20 every time I needed gas for the Toro, so I swapped to a manual reel mower from a garage sale for $15. The cut looks way cleaner on my Bermuda grass and I'm not breathing in fumes the whole time. Anyone else tried making the switch from gas to something quieter?

Did I just buy a push mower because I'm cheap, or because I secretly want to look like I'm mowing a golf course? Turns out the answer is both. My neighbors probably laugh watching me push that thing across the yard, but the stripe pattern makes it worth the workout.

Oh man, I totally used to think push mowers were just for people who didn't want to spend money. But you changed my mind, @rivera.susan. I saw a neighbor with stripes like that last week and I actually stopped to watch. It looked so clean and satisfying, way better than my gas mower's messy pattern. Now I'm kinda tempted to ditch the loud machine and get a push mower myself.
