Vent: I booked a 'co-working space' in Chiang Mai that was just a guy's living room
The listing showed a proper office setup, but it was literally a fold-out table next to his kitchen for $15 a day. Learned to always check for a video tour or recent visitor photos before paying for anything online. Anyone else get burned by a misleading workspace ad?

Totally agree with checking the host's other spots like @campbell.mary said. I also look at the map view to see if it's actually in a business area or just a random apartment building. That saved me from a couple bad ones.

Ever check the host's other listings?

Oh absolutely, @elliot949. That's the first thing I do now. I got burned once by a host who had a bunch of cheap looking places with really bad reviews hidden in their profile. It's like a total red flag if all their other spots are junk. You can tell a lot about how they'll treat you just by scrolling through. Never skip that step.
