Tried coworking at a WeWork in Bali vs a hut near Ubud

Last month I spent $300 on a WeWork pass in Canggu and got nothing done because everyone was filming TikToks next to me. Then I rented a bamboo hut near Ubud for $150 for the whole month and crushed a week's worth of coding in three days. Has anyone else found that cheaper, quieter spots actually beat the trendy coworking hubs?

My buddy tried that co-working spot in Canggu and said it was basically a nightclub with laptops. I ended up at a random coffee shop in Chiang Mai last year that had concrete floors and one fan, best internet I've ever had for like 50 cents a day. A lady next to me was selling handmade soap out of a basket and still got more done than anyone at the fancy hubs. Sometimes the places that look like a mess are the real gold mines.
