That $60 coworking space membership burned me hard in Medellin
I thought I was saving money by getting the cheap monthly coworking plan at a place near Laureles. It was $60 for access to this shared room with cramped tables and no AC. The wifi dropped every 20 minutes during my calls with clients. I ended up losing a $400 project because I missed a deadline waiting for the connection to come back. After a week I moved to a proper spot for $150 a month and it was worth every extra peso. Now I always test the wifi speed first before committing to any space. Has anyone else gotten burned by a cheap membership in a new city?

Man that's rough. Losing a $400 project over wifi issues is brutal, I feel for you. Always smart to test the connection before signing up.

The real trap is that $60 feels like a deal until you realize it costs you way more in lost work. Coworking spaces know people judge by price alone and that's exactly how they hook you.
