Noticed a big shift in co-living spaces over the last 5 years
I stayed at a co-living spot in Chiang Mai back in 2019 and it was all backpackers just starting out, but last month I went to one in Medellin and it was full of people running actual businesses with teams. Has anyone else seen this change in who shows up at these places?

@daniel_martinez84 I read an article last month that said something like 40% of people in co-living spaces now are remote workers with actual companies. It makes sense when you think about it. The whole digital nomad thing went from people just getting by to full on entrepreneurs building stuff. Medellin seems to be the hub for that crowd now, way more than Chiang Mai ever was. The vibe is totally different when everyone is on calls all day instead of planning their next budget hostel jump.

Wait people are running actual businesses with teams at these places now? That's wild to me. Back in 2019 it was just broke travelers like me couch surfing basically. Different crowd for sure.
