Hit my first full year of remote work from a beach in Bali

I used to think I needed a big office and a set schedule to get things done, but after trying to work from cafes in Chiang Mai for six months, I finally set up a real morning routine with a cheap local SIM card and a co-working space. Now I start my day with a swim, work from 9 to 5 local time without the old distractions, and actually log off feeling done. How do you guys mark your work-from-anywhere anniversaries?

My one year was just me forgetting to put on pants for a zoom call.

Okay but the real question is how many people on that call actually noticed. I feel like after a year of this, everyone has a story about almost doing the same thing. Did you just stay perfectly still from the waist down or was there a moment of pure panic?

Tape a sticky note over your camera lens when you stand up, saved me twice now.
