Spent 3 hours chasing a broken Facebook Pixel. Turns out I had two installed.

Was running retargeting ads for a client in Austin and the pixel just kept firing double events. Took me an entire afternoon to find the old pixel from a Shopify app they forgot to delete. Has anyone else dealt with ghost pixels from abandoned plugins?

Shopify apps are notorious for leaving those little gifts behind. Did you dig through the site's theme code in the file manager, or did you just use a browser extension to spot the duplicates and work backwards from there? Sometimes those old pixels get stitched into the checkout or order status pages and you have to go hunting through liquid files to kill em all.

Right? I swear I found old tracking code stuffed in the checkout liquid once lol.
