My niece told me her drawings are just "happy little accidents" like Bob Ross says. It made me realize I call my whole life a happy little accident most days. Kids have this way of saying something simple that just hits you right in the gut, you know? It's like they're not trying to be deep, but they end up teaching you something. I'm over here still trying to figure out how to draw a straight line.

Watch kids at the park sometime. They'll trip and fall, then laugh about the cool rock they found on the ground. Adults just get mad about the grass stain. We're taught to plan everything, to avoid mistakes. But the best stuff in my life came from things I never saw coming. Your niece gets it. Maybe a happy little accident is just paying attention to the good part.
