I finally got my shot of the old fountain at Westgate Mall
Everyone says you can just walk in and snap a picture, but the security guard told me I needed a permit from the management office, which was closed. It took me three separate trips over two weeks to finally catch someone there and get the okay. Has anyone else had to jump through hoops just to take a few photos?

That is totally wild, @charliep79. I had the SAME thing happen last year trying to get a shot of the old clock in the atrium. One guard said it was fine, the next week a different one demanded a form I had to get notarized. It's like they make up the rules as they go.

Three separate trips? That's insane, man. I've taken pics of that fountain a bunch of times and never even saw a guard. Did he just decide to power trip that day or is there a new rule? What's next, needing a permit for the food court?
