Hit 50 dead malls visited this year, didn't plan it
I was counting up my photos from 2024 and realized I've been to 50 different dead malls since January. Most are in Ohio and Pennsylvania where I do my cleaning jobs on weekdays. The weirdest one was a mall in Youngstown where every store was still open but there were zero customers. Has anyone else accidentally hit a big number like that without trying?

48 is my number, but that's just the ones I found on my own without counting. I went to the deadest mall in Erie, PA back in February and there was a single kiosk selling those weird phone cases that look like old tvs. The guy running it hadn't sold anything in three days but said he was still making rent somehow. I bought a case for a phone I don't even own just to be nice. Your Youngstown situation sounds way spookier though. There's something weird about a fully staffed mall with no people that's almost more unsettling than one with boarded up anchor stores.
