The library archive in Portland that rewired my plot outlines
I spent three hours in the Multnomah County archive last Tuesday reading old ship logs, and the way they skipped whole boring weeks to get to one storm changed how I cut scenes, so has anyone else found real documents that beat any prompt generator?

Wait, couldn't you get the same effect just from reading a novel with good pacing? Ship logs skipping boring weeks sounds cool but that's just editing, right? Not sure three hours in an archive really beats a prompt for most people.
