That $2 desk from Craigslist turned out to be haunted by a cat ghost

I picked up this old wooden desk from a lady in Bellingham for pocket change. She said it was just taking up space. First night I had it in my apartment, I kept hearing scratching sounds around 3 AM. Thought it was mice. Then I found a sticky note taped under one of the drawers that said "Mittens sleeps here." Looked up the address and turns out a lady lived there before with a cat that passed away in 2018. I swear I felt something brush my leg while looking at the note. Has anyone else bought furniture that came with a free spirit attached?
