Found a 2003 Nokia brick with a 30 minute porn video still on it
Last Tuesday I saw a listing for an old Nokia 3650 with the caption 'vintage phone, works, has some stuff on it'. Dude wanted 20 bucks so I figured why not. I got it home and the gallery had a 30 minute clip of someone's homemade video from 2003, shot at a motel in Fresno. I told my wife and she made me message the seller to ask if he knew it was there, and his reply was 'oh yeah, that's my ex'. We spent a full hour just scrolling through his contacts and texts before we deleted everything. Anyone else ever bought a used phone with someone's whole life still on it, or is this just my luck?

Bought a flip phone off a guy at a flea market and it still had his whole life on it. Photos of his kids, texts to his girlfriend, even his banking app was logged in. My move was to call him before I wiped anything and he drove back an hour to grab it, turns out his kid had swiped it and sold it for cash. He gave me 40 bucks for saving his butt. Point is, hit up the seller first before you nuke anything, some of that stuff might actually matter to the guy and you never know what you'll get out of it.
