Old timer at the yard said I was picking the wrong crane for residential work. He might be right.

@ryan_stone exactly, I read somewhere that residential sites have tighter access than most guys realize and a bigger crane just eats up space you need for outriggers.

Heard a similar thing from a foreman back when I was doing foundations. Those old guys have seen enough setups go wrong to know when a smaller boom would save you headaches. You gonna swap it out before the next job or stick with your gut?
