Am I the only one who still climbs off the crane to spot the load instead of trusting the camera
Six months ago I was running a Grove GMK at a job site in Fresno and the camera feed kept showing the load 2 feet left of where it actually was. I climbed down to spot it by hand three times that day, and my operator buddy laughed at me for not trusting the tech. Then last week the same rig's camera lens got fogged up and he dang near tagged a concrete form that was still sitting on the deck. I still hop out for the critical picks, takes 90 extra seconds and saves me a head ache. Anyone else still doing this the old way or am I just stubborn?
