Hit 20 years behind the chair last Tuesday and it still feels weird

I was looking at my old cosmetology license from 2004 the other day. The picture alone tells you how much the industry has changed, hair wise and tool wise. Anyone else feel like the training they got in school barely covers what you actually deal with now?

20 years behind the chair" and still feels weird? So you're saying it hasn't fully sunk in that you've been fighting with the same spray bottle for two decades? School definitely didn't teach me how to say "no, baby, that color ain't gonna wash out in two weeks" with a straight face, either.

@wade_young86 that spray bottle comment hit way too close to home. School also left out how to fake a smile when someone says "just a trim" and means 6 inches.
