Fought the GPS for 20 minutes trying to find that taco truck behind the laundromat on 5th

I kept driving past the address because my phone said the place was 2 blocks east, but the actual truck sits in the back lot of a coin laundry on 5th and Main. A guy buying quarters finally pointed me to the right spot, and I got 3 tacos for $6, way better than the $14 plate I had downtown last Friday. Should I trust word of mouth over map apps for these little spots, or is there a better way to find them?
