TIL I was using my laser level backwards on a job in Denver

Seventh floor finish work last Tuesday. I kept getting measurements off by a hair. My foreman walked over and flipped the unit 180 degrees. He said the vials only read accurate one way on this model. I was leveling everything opposite for like 3 days. Has anyone else had a tool that was secretly directional?
