A supply chain guy in Dallas made me question our whole drone delivery setup
Honestly, I was chatting with a logistics manager at a job trailer last week and he said our drone photos for progress reports are just 'pretty overheads' that don't tie to the actual schedule or material staging. He showed me how his team links every image to a specific pallet or crew task, and it hit me that we're burning $2,800 a month on aerial scans we barely use for anything but show and tell. Has anyone else had to rethink how their drone data actually feeds into planning, or is everyone just flying for the hell of it?

Ha! Classic case of buying cool gear before asking why.
