TIL that the worst week of my life was actually a Tuesday to Tuesday stretch, not Monday to Friday

Last month I had an insane run. Tuesday my car battery died in the parking lot at work in Tulsa. Wednesday my AC went out at home. Thursday I got a flat tire on the way to the shop. Friday my debit card got declined at the grocery store with a cart full of food. Then Saturday my neighbor's tree fell on my fence. Sunday was quiet, which felt like a setup. Monday I got a $400 plumbing bill. Tuesday I found out my bank had put a fraud hold on my card for 5 days without telling me. Has anyone else had a week where bad stuff just kept stacking like that?

Bro your week sounds like a country song on fire. Last year I had a stretch where I locked my keys in the car at the gas station, then got rear ended the next day, then my phone screen cracked falling out of my pocket. It's like the universe just picks a person and unloads.

Did you read that article about how bad luck actually comes in clusters because stress makes you more accident prone? After my third screw up in a row I was so wound up I could barely function. It's like when you're already in a bad mental state your brain is too busy freaking out to focus on the little things like checking your pockets or watching where you walk. Your story about the keys and the rear ending sounds exactly like that snowball effect. The phone screen breaking is just the universe laughing at that point.
