The chemtrail thing I brushed off for years finally got me thinking

I used to roll my eyes anytime someone brought up chemtrails at the bar. Seemed like classic internet paranoia to me. But then I moved out to a small farm near Eugene, Oregon about 2 years ago. Started noticing these persistent lines in the sky that hung around way longer than normal jet contrails. They'd spread out into a hazy layer and block the sun for hours. My neighbor who's been farming here since the 80s pointed out how the patterns changed around 2010. He showed me his weather log and the number of clear sunny days dropped by about 30 percent since then. I still don't buy the whole mind control angle or whatever, but the idea that there's some kind of atmospheric spraying going on feels less crazy now. Anyone else have a neighbor or old timer who made you look twice at something you dismissed?

Oh man, I dunno. Less clear sunny days could just be normal weather patterns shifting. Farmers love blaming stuff on the sky.

Last spring I counted 14 days in a row with hazy skies in central Illinois. That's not normal weather patterns, that's a problem. Farmers around here keep detailed records too, they'll pull out notebooks from 30 years ago to prove their point. If you've got a garden or even just a rain barrel, start tracking what falls from the sky yourself. It might change your mind.
