My brother in law called my moon landing doubts lazy thinking and it actually made me redo my whole approach
About 8 months ago I was at a family cookout in Toledo and I was going off about the moon landing footage, saying the flag thing proves it was faked. My brother in law, who works as a machinist, just looked at me and said "you're repeating stuff you heard, you've never actually looked at the math yourself." That stung because he was right, I was just parroting YouTube videos. So I spent the next 3 months actually reading NASA mission transcripts and looking at the physics of the Van Allen belt. Turns out a lot of what I thought was suspicious had real technical explanations I just never bothered to check. Now when I debate anything here I make myself find the primary source first before I post. Anyone else get called out like that and have it actually change how they dig into this stuff?
