I tried to fact-check a 'moon landing was fake' video for my uncle and it backfired.

My uncle sent me this hour-long video last week, full of shaky clips about studio lights and flag waves. I spent a whole evening pulling up NASA docs and debunking sites, making a list of points. When I showed him, he just said 'See? They put all that stuff out to fool you.' The man now thinks I'm part of the cover-up. Has anyone else had a relative just dig in deeper when you show them proof?

Yeah, it's like you're playing chess and they're playing a different game. They see your facts as just more moves in the conspiracy, not as checkmate. You can't win by their rules.

Why even bother, it's just a moon video?
