I finally looked into that 'birds aren't real' thing my cousin kept going on about

Turns out it was a satire project from 2017, but the fact it got so big online is kinda wild. Anyone else have a conspiracy they thought was nuts but then found a weirdly logical explanation for?

Know the feeling... fell down a rabbit hole about the moon landing once. Turns out the "flag waving" thing has a boring science answer about inertia.

My uncle was convinced the whole thing was filmed in Arizona... spent a whole Thanksgiving trying to prove it with a flashlight and a globe.
