I finally checked the 'birds aren't real' theory at a park in Denver

I was at City Park last weekend watching pigeons and honestly they did seem too coordinated. They all looked up at the same time like some signal went off. Has anyone else noticed weird bird behavior near government buildings?

Three times last month I saw sparrow flocks all freeze mid-hop at once near the courthouse.

My buddy Dave saw the EXACT same thing outside the IRS building downtown. He said a flock of starlings literally did a synchronized barrel roll over the parking lot. Swears he heard a faint buzzing sound right before it happened. He doesn't buy the whole theory but he won't feed the pigeons at the park near the federal building anymore. Too spooked by how they all turned their heads at once like little feathered drones.
