Dropped $500 on a prepper bunker course and it was all common sense
Signed up for this weekend class about building underground shelters. The guy charged $500 and spent 6 hours telling us to dig a hole and line it with cinder blocks. No real info on ventilation or waterproofing, just basic stuff you could learn from a YouTube video. I feel like I got scammed honestly. Has anyone else wasted money on survival courses that were just fluff?

Man, that stinks. You paid good money for what sounds like a six hour lecture on digging a hole. A lot of those survival courses are just folks trying to make a quick buck off people who are nervous about things. For five hundred bucks, you should have gotten some solid blueprints and maybe a list of good sealants, not just cinder block basics.
