Debate: Did my neighbor's leaf blower at 7 AM actually save my Saturday or ruin it?

So last Saturday I'm sleeping in finally after a long week and at 7 AM sharp my neighbor fires up his gas leaf blower right outside my window. I was ready to storm over there and give him a piece of my mind. But then I looked outside and saw he was blowing all the leaves off my driveway too without me asking. He even swept them into a pile on the curb like a decent guy. Now I'm stuck wondering - does getting a free yard cleanup justify losing two hours of sleep? Or am I just being a pushover for not saying something? He's a retired guy named Frank who seems lonely and probably just wanted to help. But the noise was insane and my dogs freaked out for an hour after. Has anyone else had a neighbor do a favor that kind of ticked you off but you couldn't complain?

Was this just a one-time thing or does Frank do this kind of stuff regularly?

Three times now that I know of, and each time it's been the same kind of thing where he just disappears for a few days and then shows up acting like nothing happened. I've seen him pull this with other people at the community center potlucks too, he'll just walk away mid-conversation and leave someone hanging. It's really sad honestly because I know Frank has some stuff going on with his family, but that doesn't make it okay to do this to people who are just trying to be friendly. You deserve better than being treated like an afterthought like that.
