DAE find that conspiracy debates online just go in circles now?
I got into a chat about old government projects and everyone kept repeating the same points. People would post articles but not actually read what others said. It hit me that we're not debating, we're just talking to win. We might get further if we listened more and argued less.

My best attempts at debunking stuff usually just prove I'm a hamster on the same wheel.

That hamster wheel line is way too real. But why keep running on it if you know it's just a wheel? Most stuff isn't worth debunking, and trying to just gives it more air. Sometimes you gotta ask if proving the sky is blue to someone who says it's green is actually a good use of your time.

Saw an article calling these loops "echo chamber fatigue." Jennifer's right about the hamster wheel, people just want to hear their own voice played back.
