Just realized I've been bull-floating wrong for 5 years

I was working a big driveway pour in Raleigh last month and my buddy came over to watch me finish. He said, "You're leading with the wrong edge, man." Turns out I was always tilting the float forward instead of keeping it flat. It explains why I kept getting those little ridges I'd have to go back over. Has anyone else spent years doing a basic move wrong without knowing?

I tilted my float for a decade before a coworker finally set me straight too.

Hold up though @umasullivan, I actually think tilting the float is the whole point lol. I've been tilting mine left every single time for 15 years on purpose and nobody's ever corrected me because there's nothing to correct. The float sits different in the cup and lets you get the last sip without that annoying glug glug sound at the bottom.
