The shop lead in Reno called my work 'cable soup' and I've never forgotten it
Three years back I was doing bench work at a repair shop off Virginia Street and I thought my builds looked fine. Then the lead there, Marcus, pointed at one of my towers and said the inside looked like cable soup. That one comment made me start routing every wire behind the board and zip tying in loops. Now I spend maybe 10 extra minutes per build but I get way fewer returns for loose connections. Anybody else get a nickname for their work that stuck with them?
