I finally stopped using compressed air to clean power supplies after a spark hit my face

Switched to a dedicated electronics vacuum last month after I read that compressed air can actually force dust deeper into sensitive components and now I'm wondering how many PSUs I ruined over the past 3 years.

Ordered a half-decent paint sprayer online and it came with a seal that was already cracked. Pretty sure compressed air from a hardware store did the same to my old vacuum's motor filter before I figured out it was cheaper to just get a proper dust extractor.

Saw a guy on YouTube mention that half the time those cheap sprayers have seals that were already toast before they left the factory, not from the user. @skyler_craig you might be onto something about the compressed air too, seems like a common shortcut that backfires.
