I finally got that old Compaq desktop running again after 3 months

Did you read that article about how old electronics can hold their value better than new ones if you take care of them? I saved my grandpa's old Gateway from 1998 and it actually got a decent price on eBay last year. Feels like a waste to just throw these machines away when they can still be useful for basic stuff.

Did you hook up a dot matrix printer to it too for the full 90s experience? Those old Compaqs are built like tanks though, I bet that thing will outlast my new laptop by a decade. Bet it sounds like a jet engine when it boots up though...
